A sweet little guide to Nature Me

Read about the science behind how "nature and emotional well-being go hand-in-hand" here.

Here is a little bit about me and the "why I do it" behind Nature Me.

Learn more about the wonderful photographers from Givenphoto.com who have graciously consented to let Nature Me use their images on this site. I think you will agree that they are very talented at their craft.

The Journal is the heart of my website. I do most of the writing in nature settings for these articles. Here you will find a mix of advice, opinion, information, experience and activities written from my heart for you and to you. Not quite love letters but almost. My intention is to inspire you to connect with nature on a deeper level, to help embrace peace, balance and self-empowerment. I invite you to write back and share your thoughts and feelings as we build this community of women who value nature together.

The side bars are a cornucopia of helpful articles and interesting tidbits of information about our natural world. Sure to please, inspire, make you laugh and feel better.
  • The Joy Nature list will help you start to pay attention and feel joy from simple nature pleasures that we often overlook.
  • You'll find articles based on my travels with my life partner and nature photographer extraordinaire, Curt Given. These are great resources for your travel plans.
  • Puget Sound Urban Nature is a series of short descriptions and photographs about urban parks and other nature areas in the Puget Sound region. (I'm growing this list.) My intent is to inspire locals to take advantage of these incredibly beautiful places.

Picture it Well are photographs that symbolize some aspect of personal wellness. And the brief text is meant to inspire, get you thinking, and show you the healing power of nature.
